Dark Chocolate Cream Pie — don’t let its lighter hue fool you. This pie delivers the deep, rich taste of dark chocolate in a cool, creamy dessert that’s easy to make and perfect for sharing.

I’m incredibly grateful for my readers, followers, and friends. We share stories, laughs, and sometimes a tear. You try recipes, leave kind notes, and offer gentle corrections when I make typos. I appreciate the constructive feedback and the community we’ve built.
Not every recipe is for everyone, and that’s fine — tastes vary. I get the occasional “yuk” or “not for me,” and even comments like “I’m on a diet” or “This causes diabetes.” My response: everything in moderation. I leave those comments in place because honest opinions are part of being a community.

Occasionally other bloggers have reported rude or hostile comments, and I’d never had that experience until recently. Last weekend, a few comments crossed the line into crude and inappropriate territory — on a food post. I removed and banned the offenders and added filters for certain words. While the incident bothered me, the response from my Facebook community was incredibly heartwarming.
The outpouring of support brought me to tears. Hundreds of comments poured in, and although Facebook limited how much I could respond to at once, I read and treasured each message. This reminded me that there is far more kindness than cruelty in the world.

To the trolls: your words didn’t hurt me. I hope those who act out of loneliness or anger find better ways to contribute. In the meantime, I’ll keep focusing on creating positive content, sharing recipes, and nurturing the community that makes this blog so special.

Now, about the pie. This recipe is all about simplicity and flavor. Schools asked me to bring pies for Pi Day, so I made several. This dark chocolate cream pie stood out because it’s light in texture yet deeply chocolatey in taste. It comes together in about 10 minutes, uses a ready-made crust if you prefer convenience, and freezes beautifully if you need to prepare it ahead.

Dark Chocolate Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 1 ready made graham cracker crust
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sweetened dark chocolate, chopped (or baking chips)
- 1/3 cup heavy cream (milk may be substituted)
- 8 ounce container of Cool Whip
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate with the heavy cream in the microwave for about 45–60 seconds. Stir until fully melted to form a smooth ganache; heat an additional 10 seconds if needed.
- Using a mixer, beat the softened cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. Add most of the chocolate ganache, reserving about 1/4 cup for drizzling, and mix until combined.
- On low speed, gently fold in the Cool Whip until the filling is uniform. Pour the filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- If the reserved ganache has thickened, microwave briefly (10–15 seconds) to loosen. Transfer to a plastic bag, snip a small corner, and drizzle over the pie in your preferred pattern.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
This pie freezes well; remove it from the freezer about one hour before serving. Recipe source: ChocolateChocolateandmore.com
