Why this recipe works

With only five ingredients and about five minutes of active air-frying time, this recipe delivers crunchy, flavorful ravioli with minimal effort. Serve them with jarred marinara, a simple pizza sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Air frying is a cleaner, faster alternative to deep frying: there’s no greasy splatter, less cleanup, and it still produces a satisfyingly crisp coating. This same breading technique also works well for other air fryer snacks like mozzarella sticks.

How to Make Air Fryer Ravioli

Step-by-step photos and clear instructions are provided below. Scroll to the recipe card at the bottom for the printable version with exact measurements.

  1. Set up a breading station: one bowl or pie plate for beaten eggs and two bags (or bowls) for flour and breadcrumbs.
  2. Place the flour in one bag and the breadcrumbs in the other. Beat the eggs in the bowl.
  3. Put a few ravioli in the flour bag, seal, and shake to coat. Shake off excess flour and transfer to the egg wash. Use a brush or toss to coat the ravioli evenly with egg.
  4. Move the egg-coated ravioli into the breadcrumb bag in small batches and shake until well coated.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick spray. Arrange the breaded ravioli in a single layer, spray the tops with olive oil, and air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 2 minutes. Flip, spray again, and air fry another 2–3 minutes until crispy and golden.
  6. Serve hot, sprinkled with fresh parmesan and basil, and a side of marinara for dipping.
