Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup water optional
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 7 hamburger buns
- Optional: carrot and celery sticks
Instructions

Lightly spray the crock pot with cooking spray.

Brown the ground beef in a skillet, drain, and add the meat to the crock pot.

Return the skillet to the heat and cook the garlic and chopped onion for 3–4 minutes.

Add the cooked garlic and onion, ketchup, water (if using), brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce to the crock pot and stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for about 2.5 hours.

Stir in the shredded Cheddar until melted and evenly combined.

Serve on hamburger buns with carrot and celery sticks on the side, if desired.
